Tyrone Bassmasters was established in the summer of 1982 with 7 original members.
Purpose:
To stimulate public awarness of bass fishing as a major sport. Offer our state conservation department our organized moral and political support and encouragement. Promote full adherence to all conservation codes and to demand adequate water standards. Detect and report any polluter and call public and political attention to his crime. To improve our skill as bass anglers through a fellowship of friendly exchange of expert bass catching techniques and ideas, and to promote and encourage youth fishing, and the love for this great recreation.
Meetings are held the 4th tuesday of every month at the Tyrone Sportsman Club at 7 PM.
